Mdxt
A Markdown editor that types 19 Indian languages phonetically.

The short version
Mdxt is a fast, minimal Markdown editor and reader, a lightweight alternative to editors like Typora. Notes stay as honest .md files on your disk, you can type phonetically in 19 Indian languages, and everything syncs through your own Google Drive.
The problem
Writing in Indian languages on a computer is still awkward, and most note apps lock your writing inside their own database and sync service. I wanted plain files, real Markdown, and Hindi or Tamil as easy to type as English.
What it does
19 Indian languages
Type phonetically: naam becomes नाम. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam and more.
Plain Markdown, no lock-in
Every note is a .md file readable anywhere. Even .txt files open in the same rich view.
Source and live view
One key (Ctrl+/) flips between raw Markdown and the rendered page.
Math and diagrams
KaTeX for equations and Mermaid for diagrams, rendered as you write.
Your own Google Drive
Local-first saves, sync through a vault folder in your Drive. No servers of mine ever see a word.
Safe sync
Conflicting edits keep both versions, and the app can only see files it created (drive.file scope).
